LIGHTNING STORM GK is a creative lighting studio
& audiovisual production company,
based in Tokyo, Japan.
We started in 2002 as a network of freelancers working in the lighting industry. Our vision was to create a network of professionals to share experiences and push past creative limits. In the process, we set out to invent progressive ways of crafting lighting experiences - for all occasions.
In 2007, we named ourselves Lightning Storm, dedicated to
the great scientist Nikola Tesla.
We continued to break ground for the next seven years and push past boundaries in the lighting space. From corporate events to music festivals,
we delivered creative lighting environments. Using cutting-edge technologies, we built permanent and temporary installations for showrooms, and event spaces.
Along the way, we grew our network with individuals and companies from industries such as audio and video production, construction, interior decoration, and more.
In 2015, we established our business which evolved into an audiovisual production company. Our mission is always to understand the needs of our clients and develop fresh ideas for every project.
One thing that hasn't changed over the years is our philosophy of close client collaboration and an open work process that welcomes creativity, exploration, and innovation.
Thanks to our network of production partners, we have the versatility to execute any project.
